Home to many famous breathtaking temples, beaches and the magnificent Angkor Wat (one of the seven wonders of the world). With all the beauty that Cambodia has to offer, its also a shame to witness the country in its current state, so fragile, deepened in dark history, corruption and poverty. As a visitor to the country its hard not to notice the devastating aftermath of the reign of communist leader Pol Pot and his Khmer Rouge entourage. Land-mines still scatter the nation, serving as dangerous remnants of war and resulting in an alarmingly high number of disabled people and children without parents.
